Love @ Easter

Love @ Easter

“Love”, it’s the word or verb that’s been written and talked about for an eternity. It’s the thing, the bigger you make it, the harder it is to get your mind around it. In it’s simplest form you think it’s about instinct; in it’s more complex form it’s about a positive emotion of regard and affection and the price and meaning is steep. Me personally, I’m the kind of a guy that likes to see things on a simple level, I believe it just makes things easier. This thing “LOVE” is undeniably a necessary component in being human, the expression, the act essential in our humanness and humanity. The emotion evoked in the very depths of the soul provokes the heart to pound, mind to race, to take risks, and act irrational and another dozen or more descriptions.
“Love” at it’s depths seems to be black or white, true or false, or even an alive or dead thing.

During this Easter time, I am reminded of “LOVE”. The “LOVE” our God gave to us came at a great and tremendous cost, his Son. A “LOVE” that is available for all whom are willing to receive it. Initially free, as we receive, believe and share, the more precious it becomes and easier to “LOVE”, it is as if we become like the Son of God; the price, cost, means, and measure seemingly high to those that have not yet experienced this “LOVE”. The beauty of this great gift is paradox to many. (that is how it is with God’s “LOVE”, once you experience it you want the world to know). My thought and wish to you this Easter is to “LOVE” as you have been loved and remember the price for your eternal salvation is paid in “LOVE”, dare to love the fallen world as you’ve been loved. To PASS IT ON as freely as you have received it. Dare to make a difference in word, thought and deed and see the difference in your “LOVE”.
